About Ellie & Francois
We pride ourselves in our personal commitment to the planet. Our life motto is to work hard, play hard & always have balance in life. We are a relaxed easy going couple, well travelled, young at heart, love to laugh…nature lovers….when we are not working, we enjoy sailing, micro-light flying, touring the back-roads, hiking & cycling. We speak English, Afrikaans & French.
Ellie manages and decorates the studios, and does the hospitality marketing for Paradise Private. She also loves cooking up a storm in her “one of a kind” kitchen with a view to die for. She will be available for anything you may need during your stay to make your visit even more enjoyable.
Francois designs and creates solidwood buildings for the Local and Export market, continuing a tradition started by his father 54 years ago.
We love living in beautiful Knysna and where possible we are happy to share our knowledge of the local area, hidden gems and must do’s with you, so if you have any questions on places to visit or restaurants to eat at, or specific activities, feel free to chat to us any time about it.
We both enjoy meeting our new guests from all over the world and look forward to welcoming & hosting you.
